East Preston Festival Community Market
East Preston Village Green
Join us at the East Preston community fete & charity market on the Village Green.
Come along to support a number of local charities including Worthing Mencap and meet East Preston social groups. There will be children’s entertainment with Punch & Judy, magic shows, balloon modelling, Nic & Ben’s rides and a free face painter plus food from the local WI.

Worthing Mencap’s annual Sport and Fun Day is back for 2025.
Join us for lots of fun across the day including:
*A Super Fun Disco
*Inflatable Assault Course
*Magician
*Cycall Adapted Cycling
*Various sport activities inc. trampolining, table tennis, curling, zumba
*Arts and crafts
And not to forget the FREE Ice cream & medal
This is a free event, funded by Worthing Mencap and individuals and groups (e.g. schools, colleges, day centres etc) supporting people with a learning disability, autism or other additional needs are welcome.

Summer Fayre

There will be a variety of stalls, entertainment, refreshments and more.
The Charity Shop will also be open so you’ll have a chance to pick up a bargain too.

Blue Starfish Club Night - Summer Vibes
The Factory Live, Ivy Arch Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 8BX
Our popular Blue Starfish Club night is back. Get your sunglasses and shorts at the ready, we’re celebrating summer.
Blue Starfish is a popular club night for people with learning disabilities and their friends (aged 16 and over).
Come along and enjoy performances by local DJs/bands, have a dance and get together with friends.
Entry: £6 per person
To avoid the queues, you can buy your tickets in advance from Buddys (121 South Farm Road, BN14 7AX). Just pop in and speak to a member of the team. Tickets will also be available to buy on the door. Cash and card accepted.
Food and refreshments will be available to buy on the night (ID may be required to purchase alcoholic beverages). Cash and card is accepted at the venue.

Broadwater Carnival and Fire Station Open Day
Broadwater Green, Broadwater Street West, Worthing BN14 9DJ
Join us for this annual event on Broadwater Green and the Fire Station.
There will be approximately 150 stalls at the event and please keep an eye out for the Worthing Mencap stall and come and visit. It is a great community event with local groups entertaining the crowds with various displays.
At the Fire Station demonstrations take place and you can even have a look around a fire engine.
The event is free entry and open to all age groups. The Fire Station opens early exclusively for SEN, from 9am – 10am. Places are limited and can be booked via the Fire Station website here: http://broadwatercarnival.co.uk/home/sendrequest/
